[ ] ★ TOP BLOCKER — prove OptiPlex hibernate→WOL on the bench. The entire parked-power story depends on reliable systemctl hibernate (S4) + Wake-on-LAN on the OptiPlex 5080 Micro. Verify: BIOS Deep Sleep Control = Disabled, Block Sleep = off, WOL/PXE enabled; swap area ≥ RAM (16GB as-bought, or 32GB if upgraded) for S4; confirm it wakes via magic packet from cold-cab cold-NIC. Also measure 5VSB-alive WOL duration (the old ~30hr was a Z440 number). If it won't wake reliably, there is no carputer — settle this before buying install hardware.
[ ] Replace the CR2032 BIOS coin cell (teardown: 2020 unit, cell may be aging). The deep-storage tier (§5.4) cuts power to true 0W, so on return only the CR2032 holds the clock — a dead cell = BIOS clock reset on cold boot → Tailscale cert validation + SQLite/event-log timestamps break until GPS/NTP resync. ~$1 insurance, do it at install. (GPS + ESP32 RTC are the off-grid time backstops — §5.4.)
[x] ~~Confirm EPEVER 30A MPPT 48V support~~ → DONE: 12V/24V-only confirmed → system is 12V (settled). No longer a blocker (§5.5).
[ ] Email Phoenix photo of OEM radio+AC panel; confirm heated/cooled seats + heated steering retained (in writing) — only when buying Phoenix
[ ] ~~Update BIOS both Z440s~~ — N/A (Z440 shelved). If you ever build the §11 home RAG box on a Z440, the BIOS v01.10+ step applies there, not to the truck.
[ ] Test ONE camera (RTSP in OpenCV + rain/temp/IR; check 850 vs 940nm IR) before buying the rest — order early (2-wk AliExpress shipping)
[ ] Decide camera draw vs LS108GP 62W budget (§7.5) before buying 8 cams — low-draw 1080p cams to fit 8-up, or cap at ~4 high-draw, or step to a 126W switch.

[ ] 🔴 Buy-now (~$110 to go live): Waveshare ESP32-S3-POE-ETH-8DI-8DO ×1 (FRONT board, 12V power) · relay/fuse panel + plug-in Bosch relays · XVF3800 mic · wire/fuses (owned Cat5 for triggers). (BED board ×1 + bed Modbus IO = need-soon, when building the camp/tent zone — §6.5.)
[ ] 🟡 Need-soon: DC-DC charger (when moving to daily driving) · SN65HVD230 (~$2, only if the reserve WROOM-32 is deployed)
[ ] ⚪ Defer:TP-Link LS108GP (with cameras — see §7.5) · 6-8× mini PoE cams (test ONE first) · 4TB NVR SSD · keyring BLE dongle (~$5-10) · USB GPS dongle · dash button · cab temp sensor · OBD2 breakout · Bosch 40A relay (only for non-KC high-draw loads) · Cat5/posi-taps · Keepgo SIM top-up
[ ] ~~GL.iNet Beryl AX~~ → fallback only (buy only if the Cudy can't run Tailscale — §4.1); ~~Cudy LT18~~ → OWNED; ~~1TB NVMe~~ → OptiPlex already has a drive
[ ] NOT carputer parts (do not buy for the truck): ~~2× E5-2699 v4~~, ~~2× RTX 3060~~ → those are §11 home-RAG parts; ~~Pi 4 + PoE HAT~~ → the always-on tier is the owned Pi 3 B+; ~~Tab Active5 + USB-C Ethernet~~ → no tablet (Cudy = internet, S24/spare = dev screen); ~~SG1008MP + SG105PE~~ → standardized on LS108GP; ~~wake-word ESP32-S3 + its mic~~ → eliminated (Porcupine runs on the OptiPlex; the USB mic above is the only mic).
